Founder, Bilingual Counselor

Currently not taking new clients

Meet Tatiana.

Yes, I talk with my hands a lot. Sí, hablo español. Sí, me encanta el café. Yup, I’m a coffee lover.

I grew up in the South Bronx and Central Florida, surrounded by my loud and warm Dominican/Puerto Rican familia — a fun challenge for an introvert with anxiety. My upbringing and love of people have definitely influenced my counseling style, leading me to a strengths-based, person-centered approach with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy) training.

I have worked in the mental health and education world for more than a decade, and I bring a diverse range of  skills and experience into the space I share with my clients. I am proud to be a resident of Savannah, Georgia, a place that offers me an ideal blend of activity and quiet life. I am passionate about social justice and leaving this world better than I found it. I am an encourager, but I believe in  challenging my clients, within their comfort and consent, to reach their potential and find their peace.

Meet Camille.

I am passionate about supporting racial awareness in mental health conversations, sexual assault survivors, blended families/co-parenting, survivors of spiritual or psychological abuse, & individuals who identify as LGBTQ+. I enjoy assisting clients in overcoming personal challenges through therapeutic connection and motivation.

I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused approaches, and trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy to meet client’s relevant needs. I am familiar with Integrative counseling techniques in order to best serve the needs of the client. When applicable, I am able to utilize DBT, meditation, earth connection, grounding techniques, person centered approaches, emotional regulation exercises, and boundary setting techniques.

I encourage clients to heal and process at their own pace while receiving support from a therapeutic perspective as needed during sessions.

Arty Allen, MS, LPC

Counselor

Available for sessions starting mid-February 2023

Meet Arty.

“I’m not the kind of therapist that’s gonna sugarcoat s*** and try to pass it off as candy.”

I was born and raised in the North Georgia mountains and experienced a lot of dualities growing up. While my parents attempted to raise me to be a “Polite Southern Lady™” that was respectable and devoted to the Church, my entire family is also educators who taught me such feminist ideas as: thinking critically, questioning everything- especially hierarchies, and trusting science. Those skills served me well as I later went on to navigate my own struggles with the intersections of PTSD, Depression, Spirituality (rather than specifically religion), and realizing that instead of being a “polite Southern lady” I was in fact a rabble-rousing, queer, transgender man.

These lessons in duality and balance permeate my approach to counseling. My approach is influenced by Gestalt and Narrative therapy. Learning how the stories we tell ourselves influence us and taking an honest look at how our daily lives are impacted is a vital part of healing. Included in that is a passion for social justice and understanding how the unjust systems we live in affect what is and is not within our immediate power to change. I also practice emotion-focused counseling and utilize more experiential approaches, including expressive arts and role-play game therapy. I believe that we are all a multitude of things at the same time. And my hope is to aid my clients in finding their most authentic way of balancing all of the messy and beautiful things within themselves.
